Half Term is fast approaching…! 15th-23rd February 2025

As the February half term approaches, I’m sure we are all thinking about what to do with our little (or not so little ones!). The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is celebrating the 200th anniversary of railway travel this year and there is a plethora of exciting events for railway enthusiasts to enjoy.

As part of the celebrations the NYMR will be running the beautifully restored diesel-powered North Eastern Railway Electric Autocar No. 3170 courtesy of the NER 1903 Electric Autocar Trust. You can journey on the unique NER Autocar to and from Grosmont and Goathland stations- It’s worth noting that Goathland station was featured as Hogsmeade station in the first Harry Potter film- so a must for any Harry Potter fan!
