As a business we are very conscious of our impact on the environment. We care deeply about our local area and the impact of our actions and purchasing descisions at a global level. We want many more generations to enjoy the absolute beauty that the North York Moors has to offer.

We purchase 100% recycled paper products and try to use as many eco- friendly cleaning products as possible. We try not to use single use plastics.

We are keen that our guests recycle and offer card, paper, plastic, tin and glass recycling at the property.

As our electrical goods require replacing we aim to purchase A++ energy rated products.

We try to source fair-trade, rainforest alliance certified goods and love to buy from local producers.

We encourage our guests to use environmentally friendly transport, especially with so many walking and cycling opportunities right on our doorstep.
