I probably shouldn’t get quite this excited when a chocolate delivery arrives… but I do!

Our Choc affair order arrived today from York, so the guest treat cupboard at The Green, Lastingham. North York Moors. is looking very healthy again.

Our usual milk chocolate with honey is safely restocked, but we’ve got a new one this time - oat milk chocolate with a twist of lime. I have to admit, I’m rather curious about this one- one thing I can tell you is that the moment I opened the box there was a gorgeous smell of lime- so I'm guessing it's going to be zesty!

We’ve still got our lovely local Birdgate Chocolatiers chocolate too (well, you can't have too much chocolate and you are on holiday after all!), and I’ll be stocking up there again at the end of the month. They don’t do mail order, but I don’t mind one bit - I love an excuse to go into the shop and actually choose.

I really do love spoiling our guests with little Yorkshire treats.

So what’s your choice -honey, lime, or are you a chocolate purist?

I’m just wondering whether “quality control” counts as a legitimate reason for opening the lime one… hmm, after all it is just about time for a cuppa...
